Suddenly, Yalda remembered that it was almost the 21st of December (30th of Azar) and the return of Khorshid Khanoom! She has 4 nights to prepare for the long night of Yalda and still has to invite the guests. She wants us to attend as well! So, get ready for our journey to Manaii world!
Yalda Calendar is one of the products being offered in Manaii World this year. The countdown begins on the 18th of December (27th of Azar).
Behind each window of Yalda Khatoon’s room lies a collection of 4 stories. By opening a window each night you can enjoy listening to Ravi telling the stories of Yalda Khatoon and looking at the beautiful illustrations as well.
The tales depict Yalda Khatoon’s preparations for Yalda and introduce the traditions associated with Yalda. The illustrations are inspired by the colors and designs of childhood memories to familiarize children with the Iranian culture and traditions.
In order to preserve the Iranian mood of the stories, Ravi will narrate the stories in Persian. However, if you prefer, you can switch the subtitles by selecting the English language option in the menu.
